Nestled in the heart of the breath-taking Shropshire Hills and Wenlock Edge, our traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast offers comfort and relaxation within the rolling farmland that makes up our working mixed farm.
Lying only half a mile from the picturesque village of Cardington, and within seven miles of both the market towns of Church Stretton and Much Wenlock, Court Farm provides the perfect base from which to discover everything Shropshire and its Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer.
Explore the surrounding countryside, make the most of the many local walks and enjoy the abundance of wildlife, safe in the knowledge that a warm welcome, exclusive use of the front of the farmhouse and a cosy and tranquil setting await you on your return.
Ideal for walkers and cyclists, but a haven for anyone wishing to experience a snapshot of life in rural Shropshire, we look forward to welcoming you to our AA 4* Gold graded accommodation (2020).
Each of the two individual rooms we offer has been tastefully decorated, comprising a considered mix of traditional features along with ultra-modern facilities. Both the king-size and twin rooms overlook our cobbled courtyard and beautiful country garden and provide a spacious and comfortable base for your stay in the countryside.
Newly fitted en-suite bathrooms with modern showers, heated towel rails, a wide selection of toiletries and hairdryers, adjoin both rooms, which also have a television, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as cosy seating areas for you to enjoy it all in.
Downstairs, visitors are invited to enjoy the sole use of our comfortable sitting room. Warm your toes in front of the inglenook fireplace with its large log burner, whilst deciding where you want to visit next by perusing some of our many books and information on local places of interest, watching television or simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. Although log fires are used in the winter months, the house is most comfortable as it is easily heated, as required, all year with a renewable heat source. Menus for local pubs and restaurants are provided, including the 17th century Royal Oak, which is only half a mile away in Cardington.
Ample off road parking at the front of the house, safe storage and washing facilities for guests’ bikes, drying facilities for outdoor clothing and extra space for parking trailers means we can cater for guests with wide ranging hobbies and the equipment they bring.
