Joanna has been involved in the heritage sector professionally for nearly a decade and has worked on projects for the National Trust, St Laurence’s Church in Ludlow, and on a national initiative for the Church of England. She’s currently contracted by Historic England to curate content for new interpretation at the Flaxmill Maltings. Her talk will cover (as much as time will allow) the history of its three lives -: as a Georgian flax-spinning mill, a Victorian maltings, and its current resurrection for a third life in our own century. It will conclude with a look at recent activities on site.
